Jupiter Condos & Jupiter Homes for Sale

No matter what agent I speak with they all seem to ask what's happening with the Jupiter real estate market. Many say the real estate market is just strange right now. Not slow, not busy but steady, not  what many have seen in the past. The low inventory combined with escalating prices have buyers and sellers baffled. Is the market heading for a fall or is it going to continue to rise?  Our usually winter selling season consists of January, February and March. We saw less traffic but Jupiter real estate sales remained strong. The limited inventory seems to have many real  buyers sitting and waiting for the right property to come along. When  the right property comes to market we are seeing multiply offers and bidding wars which is caused by the limited inventory

.  

I'm also seeing a strong demand for Jupiter single family homes which I haven't seen in the past. Not only are Jupiter beach homes in areas like the Bluffs and Ocean Walk showing strong sales but properties  in Abacoa are selling well. With a limited number of larger luxury oceanfront condos available and the sharp increase in the prices of  the high end oceanfront condos buyers are seeking other alternatives.

They are looking at single family homes in Jupiter to get the sq. footage they need and it is driving the demand up for places likes the Bluffs and Ocean Walk. 

 

The high end Jupiter ocean condos are now pushing the million dollar plus mark and in places like Juno Beach they are 1.5 million and higher. Demand is still there but many buyers have seen  Juno Beach ocean condos push past their budgets. Finding an oceanfront condo under a million continues to become more difficult. Places like Jupiter Ocean Grande have just a few condos under a million and Ocean Royale condos are all well over a million. In Juno Beach and Singer Island almost any condo built in the 90's or later is well over a million and most are starting at 1.5 million and above. The older Juno Beach condos such as the Surf in Juno are all $500,000 plus. This gives you 1,300 sq. ft of living space in a 1970's building in need of a remodel. 

 

Single family homes in Jupiter like the Bluffs which are 2,000 sq. ft homes just East of the Intracoastal are hot. Record prices are being seen here with one recently listed at $699,000. You can still find original condition homes in the mid $400,00's but they move quickly. Ocean Walk has also seen record prices as well with one just listed at $995,000. If you are looking for 2,000 sq. ft of living space and your budget is under a million you will have to start looking at single family home options near the beach. 

 

The Jupiter area is very unique and I continue to see the demand for this area remain very strong. Many buyers realize the traffic and congestion down South in Boca has become daunting. In between Boca/Delray there really aren't many desirable areas till you hit Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter. The area offers the shops, restaurants and a conveniently located airport to the Northeast. The area also offers plenty of parks, golf and spring training. Drive down US 1 in Jupiter and you soon realize the preserves, park areas and the limited commercial buildings are unique to this area. The new Harbourside Place offers more waterfront restaurants  and shops. 

 

The beautiful beaches, blue waters and ocean inlet also are unique to the Jupiter area. I believe this will lead to continue demand and price appreciation for the Jupiter area.
