Jupiter Holiday Activities
The annual Holiday Boat Parade is this Saturday in Jupiter and Palm Beach Gardens. The parade beginns South of PGA Blvd and heads North to the Jupiter Inlet area near the waterfront restaurants of U Tiki and Jetty's. Unless you own a Jupiter waterfront condo on the Intracoastal you may want to get to some of the local waterfront restaurants to view the annual event. The Jupiter Yacht Club and the Jupiter Riverwalk are great places to view the boat parade. The condos in the Jupiter Yacht Club will give you a view all along the Intracoastal as you watch this event. Each year the event gets larger and larger with more boats and more people watching this event. I remember my very first Jupiter boat parade back in 1997 and there were just a few boats at best, maybe a dozen boats back than and the parade has grown in size year after year. It is always a fun event and even with the warm winter weather it gives you that Holiday season here in Florida.
Along the boat parade route you will find many Intracoastal condos having parties to celebrate this annual event. Jupiter Cove condos as well as Jupiter Harbour condos will be two of the best places to view the parade here in Jupiter. Down South Bay Colony and Oak Harbour will be the best places to watch the boat parade. Other waterfront restaurants in Palm Beach Gardens such as Seasons 52, The Riverhouse and Waterway Cafe will be a good option in that area. Make sure you get out early as the public places will be quiet busy and they lock the drawbridges up in many cases. The best place to find is afriends condo on the Intracoastal waterway along the parade route or along the Jupiter Riverwalk which runs over a mile and you should not have a problem finding a spot there. The new Harborside Place should be quite busy for the parade as well.
