Jupiter Events- Loggerhead Marine Life

The third annual Loggerhead Run 4 the Sea was held recently in Juno Beach. The race is run to sponser the Loggerhead Marine Life Center and ocean conservation for endangered sea turtles. The four mile race for adults and the 1 mile race for children ran along A1A in Juno Beach. The race could be watched from the oceanfront condos in Juno Beach Ocean Royale. The race continues to grow in size and popularity each year. Many of the racers use A1A to train for the race. The strip from Juno Beach into Jupiter is a popular training ground for runners and bikers.

Jupiter Pointe Club & Marina

Located on US 1 just North of Countyline Rd can be found the boat club and marina. The club offers boat rentals of many different types as well as the popular new sport of paddleboarding. Located on the crystal blue waters of the Intracoastal between Jupiter Island and Tequesta the water here is a popular destination for boaters, boarders and locals at the local sandbar. Recently the Blue Lobster Grill has opened here and offers waterfront dining with live music. The club has a swimming pool which overlooks the Intracoastal. Come check out the boat club and enjoy a day on the water with maybe lunch afterwards.

Maltz Jupiter Theater

The old Burt Reynolds Theater has been replaced many years ago and is now the Maltz Jupiter Theater. They just finished a building restoration updating and adding additional space to the theater. Located on the corner of Indiantown Rd and A1A. The winter 2015 season features the following musicals such as Fiddler on the Roof, The Wiz and Les Miserables. The theater also offers a full schedule of classes for young students including ballet, jazz and tap classes. Jupiter Yoga

Hot Yoga of Jupiter in Driftwood Plaza has recently opened and offers Hot Bikram Yoga summer specials. They offer a 4 week membership for only $77. This gives you the opportunity of unlimited classes of Yoga for a month. Hot yoga is done in an elevated room temperature above 100 degrees which clears your body of toxins as well as making stretching that much easier. Come give it a try for your next workout. The Driftwood Plaza is located on US 1 behind Olympus a popular Jupiter beachfront community of single family homes. The Driftwood Plaza also has several fine restaurants and a local Spa which offers massages and facials.
