Condos in Jupiter Island
What makes Jupiter Island such a disirable place to call home and why do so many rich and famous live on the island? The island runs about 20 miles from the Jupiter Inlet past Bridge Rd up to the Stuart Inlet just across from Sailfish Point, another popular high end country club community in Stuart Fl. The South end of Jupiter Island has a small community of beach homes called Jupiter Inlet Colony which features a unique old Florida charm with oceanfront homes as well as Intracoastal homes. Of course there are the dry lot homes which are also very nice. The community is very old and many homes have ben torn down and replaced. The rest of the island which is very narrow and has only Beach Rd running through the middle of the island is home to an array of different waterfront condos until you hit the Martin County line. Once you hit Martin County the condos stop and you have single family homes the rest of the way up the island. These are the homes of the wealthiest 1% in the country.
More Jupiter Island Condo information
No matter if your budget is $300,000 or 3 million there is a condo here on the Island for you. The condos range in age from early 70's to late 90's and there is a premium to live on the island. Many condos offer both ocean and Intracoastal views as well as Jupiter Lighthouse views. The Intracoastal condos have boat dockage to about 30 ft in some cases. The waters can be shallow so you have a limited boat size that you can put there. The crystal blue waters of the ocean come up the Intracoastal and it makes a great place to kayak or paddleboard. Many people sit out on the sandbar here and enjoy the activities. Boaters this is the perfect place to dock your boat. LaMar is one of my favorite condos with views in two directions and large patios. The community pool also sits out on the Intracoastal and makes a great place to watch the boats go by on the way to the Jupiter Inlet.
Jupiter Island Luxury Condos
Rememebr the Three C's for luxury condo living on Jupiter Island. Carlyle, Claridge and Cliveden all top notch waterfront condos. The Cliveden has beautiful Intracoastal views while the Carlyle and Clairidge sit on the ocean and have specatucular ocean and Intracoastal views. The Penthouse units in both have rooftop decks that you could die for. The near private beaches, Intracoastal and ocean views as well as the beautiful blue waters make Jupiter Island a highly sought after area to live. The peaceful island has no public beach access except for two County Parks with limited parking. The beaches have some rocky spots in certain areas and the winter can bring water to the seawalls.
