Homes for Sale in Jupiter Florida

Today was the first day out this week in my search for homes for sale in Jupiter Florida. Not a very exciting day of looking at properties for sale in Jupiter Florida. 

The inventory choices have vastly improved as far as number of homes for sale but the quality of what I saw was disappointing. No matter what property I saw I just started calculating the money I would invest to make it suitable to my taste. The biggest caveat I saw were how many old windows are in the places I showed today. First thing that needs replacing is the old windows that don't stay open and are quite flimsy compared to newer hurricane windows.

I saw everything from condos built in the 80's with original kitchens and baths to just remodeled homes with the new "luxury vinyl flooring" which amazes me how vinyl floor can be luxury. Reminds me of the early laminate floors that after several years peeled apart but was a quick fix for updating your floors. Hopefully our luxury vinyl floors withstand the test of time. The other "cheap update I seem to run across is kitchen cabinets. Please spend the extra money and put in self closing full extension drawers.

After a day out looking at property here in Jupiter I was quite disappointed with what I saw for the money. I guess not just here but everywhere seems to have the same issues of quality homes for sale.

Jupiter Florida Real Estate Market

What's my take on the real estate market in Jupiter and South Florida. Inventory has nearly doubled in the last year as more homes are coming up for sale and they are sitting on the market longer and I'm seeing as many new listings as price changes each day. Definitely feeling a market change  but sellers are holding firm with prices and eventually they start the price reductions until someone bites. I'm expecting some drastic price drops come February here in Jupiter to get some of the properties moved. Call me and would love to discuss what a home costs in Jupiter Florida.
