Most of Newhaven at Abacoa was built around 2001 and sits East of Military Trail across from Admirals Cove Golf Village. The community consists of 100 townhomes and 405 single family homes. The New England style homes are popular among buyers coming from the Northeast with mature Live Oak trees lining the streets. The community has similar array of floor plans except the townhomes have less living sq. ft  than newer communities like Charleston Court in Abacoa. Instead of a 1 car garage Newhaven townhomes have a 2 car garage and less living space downstairs similar to Tequesta Oaks. The community has a preserve area to the South and the elementary school is connected to Newhaven which makes it very popular for younger families with elementary age children.

Newhaven at Abacoa HOA includes basic cable and partial lawn maintenance. You are responsible for the side and back yards of your home. The community has a clubhouse and pool area. The community is pet friendly and rentals are once per year for annual leases. Being one of the older Abacoa communities there is an array of children living in the community. Located close to shopping and restaurants and a short drive to Downtown Abacoa. It is one of the closest Abacoa communities to the beaches of Jupiter.
