There is a vapor barrier between the dry wall and the log walls that seals the house from allowing moisture in. The drywall is 5/8" gypsum board which is thicker than standard. Logs have a high R-value (they provide good insulation). There is insulation in the plenum of the areas with dry wall ceilings :the kitchen, family room, main bedroom, all bathrooms, hallways and dining room)
Native Pest Management did our termite mitigation in June, 2024. The standard in Florida is a station every 18 feet.
