Highland Beach Condos
Located on the barrier island East of Boca Raton and Delray Beach you will find Highland Beach. The small strip of land houses most oceanfront and Intracoastal condos with small sections of homes. The older section of single family homes is Bel Lido which are deep water homes with no fixed bridges. The South end of Highland Beach has a row of oceanfront homes nestled between the ocean condos. Highland Beach has only one commercial building and that is the Holiday Inn which has been there for 30 plus years and is a staple of Highland Beach. The oceanfront hotel is a great place for just relaxing even for us locals. Just minutes to Delray Beach and Atlantic Ave or Mizner Park in Boca Raton. Highland Beach Oceanfront Homes
Highland Beach has their own police, fire and town hall all located in the middle of the town. There are no public beaches except for at the Holiday Inn. Most of the Intracoastal condos have beach access between many of the oceanfront condos. Most of the ocean condos are limited to 12 stories except for Toscana a luxury condo that was built in 2000. The three towers are on the West side of A1A and most condos are 2,000 sq. ft and larger. Ambassadors are older 1970's condos that are much smaller and very typical of early buildings. They are small 1,000 sq. ft beach condos. There are other buildings in between the two extremes. Close to Boca and Delray you are in the middle of it all yet isolated from traffic and congestion. If you want something similar in the North end of the County take a look at condos in Juno Beach. Quaint, quiet community of mostly condos and small home communities.
