Delray Beach Real Estate
Located just North of Boca Raton the city of Delray Beach has always been in the sidelight of Boca. Delray has always been the quiet little community that was never advertised or you would hear about but it was always a place the locals knew about. Delray Beach always had Atlantic Ave which went through a boom and bust time. Back in the early 70's Atlantic Ave was the place to shop and was the heart of Delray leading to the beach. As the malls came, the small downtown stores seemed to struggle for years. They finally turned it around by adding restaurants, bars and made it a destination. Since then it has flourished and has become more popular than ever. Atlantic Ave in Delray is by far the biggest success story around. Mizner Park in Boca does well but the charm of Atlantic Ave is enjoyed by all age groups. Places like Sunday House, Da Da's and Doc's Ice cream are long standing staples of Atlantic Ave.
Homes in Delray Beach
During the boom of 2005 builders were building all along Atlantic Ave and catering to the Yuppy crowd of living downtown and walking to the avenue. Head East to the beach and you will find Boston's on the Beach, a famous spot on A1A in Delray. The little pockets of Delray homes and condos near the beach are very desirable now and have risen sharply in price. The lifestyle it has created has caused strong demand for real estate here in Delray Beach. If you want to move a bit further North and look at Jupiter homes for sale you may want to check that option. Jupiter is the Delray Beach of the North County and has come into itself.

Delray Beach is always a favorite place with Atlantic Ave as a great venue of restaurants and bars. Always a fun place to be. The beaches of Delray are full of energy and fun. Delray Beach is one of my favorites. Highland Beach is a sliver of land between the Intracoastal and the ocean just East of Boca & Delray. The small community has condos and a few home communities as well as the Holiday Inn on the beach. The quiet little town is popular among retirees.
