Jupiter Fl homes

Jupiter Home Report

   Welcome to our Newsletter

Jupiter home sales rise to 61 home sales this week. In this months Money magazine they address the shortage of inventory in many popular sunbelt areas including Florida. The three states of CA, NV and AZ had the highest year over year rise in prices in the country. The Northeast had the lowest year over year rise. We all know that as baby boomers start thinking about  retirement we are seeing them moving South in record numbers. Places like South Carolina, GA and Florida are receiving the bulk of the soon to be retirees. Most buyers are not retired yet but are looking to purchase as they continue to see rising prices and they want to get in before they are priced out of the market

Jupiter River Walk

The $144 million dollar Harbouside Plaza on the North side of Indiantown Rd on the Intracoastal is about 40% complete. This is  a huge project for Jupiter which will include 360,000 sq. ft total. On the old site of the Burt Reynolds Museum this parcel of land has had many businesses come and go though the years. The mainstay of the project will be a 4 star Wyndham Grand Hotel with 179 rooms, rooftop terrace with  a pool and bar.   This should be a beautiful hotel with Intracoastal views from many rooms and just a few minutes to the beaches of Jupiter.

Look for Jupiter Real Estate and buy a home before the new River Walk is complete.

We will also see 60,000 sq. ft of office space, 54,000 sq. ft of retail space and about

New Jupiter Home Communities

We have talked about new home communities and how places like Abacoa and Rialto can't build homes fast enough to satisfy demand. Here in Jupiter this week they just sold Sunni Sands trailer park which sits on the Intracoastal by the Inlet for 17.5 million dollars. I'm sure we'll see some beautiful condos with asking prices starting at a million for the units with partial views and 1.5  million plus for Inlet views.

Bay Colony which is being built down in Juno on the Intracoastal just opened the third building. There are 20- 25 units per building depending upon the floor plan.  The 300 building only has a few second floor units left for sale while the 400 building has most of the third and fourth floors sold with ground

Jupiter Homes for Sale

Jupiter home sales slow for the first week this year. We saw just 45 homes sell this week but that is still a good week overall. I see continuing price increases in lower end properties and I'm seeing rising prices in single family homes up to a million. The single family home market under $600,000 and condos under $300,000 remain the strongest segments right now in Jupiter. Forget finding a $100,000 condo and in many cases a sub $200,000 condo. If one hits the market it's like bait fish in  a shark pool. The demand for sub $200,000 condos and townhomes is ridiculous right now and I don't see any improvement in that market segment.  I'm hearing of large hedge funds buying homes in gated communities in places like Wellington at
